We had a chance to have a short getaway at Royal Tulip Visesa Ubud, it was a blissful property surrounded with natural beauty scenery. After we’ve done with the check-in process and get everything settled, it was already 2.30 pm we’re so hungry so we’re headed to Lesung Restaurant for some late lunch.

The restaurant itself was located next to the lobby overlooking their main pool and with some rice paddy fields as the background. Lesung Restaurant offers many great Indonesian, Asian and International dishes. 


We had their Signature “Lesung” (185K) as our appetizer, it’s a spicy and zesty Thai salad consist of char grill prawn, squid, fresh mango, jicama, onion, scallion, red pepper, cherry tomato served with Thai chili sauce. With the entire flavors combo, it becomes a great appetizing start for our lunch.


Nasi Campur (155K) is one of their favorite menus here, served with 6 different dishes such as fish and chicken satay lilit, succulent beef rendang, salted egg, Balinese bebek betutu (duck betutu), spicy plecing kangkung, and 2 different sambals that complement the flavors.
